The Red Birds baseball team will begin representing the city of Chanhassen again this spring and summer. The Red Birds started in 1947 and went until…. sometime. Now they’re back.
They will be playing at Chanhassen High School’s new baseball field. The Red Birds will be playing in the River Valley League‘s Central Division with the likes of the Belle Plaine Tigers and the Waconia Lakers.
An unveiling of the new logo and manager will take place on March 19th at 3:30 pm at the Chanhassen High School commons. If you want to try out for the team they will take place on April 3rd.
I’m excited to be able to watch some local baseball this summer.
